Wandelen

In the summer Mallnitz is a paradise for walkers. You can take fantastic walks through the valleys (also suitable with children) such as the beautiful Seebachtal, which also has a nature playground for the kids, or the cultural walk along the Roman roads through the Tauerntal.

For the real mountain walkers there is, among others, the walk over the Auernig. Because of its central location you cannot miss the rocky summit of the Auernig with the large Gipfelkreuz from Mallnitz.

Mountain climbing with a guide, climbing and trail running are also possible!

What is also definitely worth it is a visit to one of the “schluchten” (waterfalls) in and around Mallnitz. The Groppensteinschlucht, the Raggaschlucht or the Rabischssclucht are huge waterfalls along which you can walk all the way up. A fantastic experience for young and old!
